Healing matters only after the immediate threat is controlled. Current community references describe Bandage as restoring one Heart and Health Kit as restoring the user’s Health to maximum. The decision is therefore about missing Health, rarity, future floor risk, and who can use the item safely—not simply which object is stronger.
Bandage or Health Kit
Use a Bandage for a single missing Heart when the remaining Health is otherwise stable. Preserve a Health Kit for a Toon missing multiple Hearts or for a later deep-floor emergency. A two-Heart Toon at one Heart has different risk than a three-Heart Toon at two, even though both are missing one.
If inventory space is blocking an escape or extraction item, using the smaller heal early can be correct. Do not discard healing blindly; ask whether another player needs it first.
Find a safe healing window
Break line of sight and confirm attention ended. Move away from the last seen corner so the Twisted cannot immediately reacquire you. Then use the item. Healing beside an active chase often returns one Heart and loses it in the same moment.
During Panic Mode, the safest choice may be to reach the elevator rather than stop. Compare distance, stamina, and threat. A Heal is useful only if it does not cause the player to miss the exit.
Team priority
Prioritize the Toon whose survival protects the run: the only active distractor, a healer who can restore others, the extractor finishing the last machines, or a low-Health Main Toon. This is a floor decision, not a permanent rank.
Call “Bandage here” or “Health Kit at left room” with location. Do not move the item without telling the injured player. If several Toons need it, choose the one with the least alternative and the clearest role.
Toon abilities versus items
Current community documentation also lists Toon healing abilities, some funded by Tapes or Health tradeoffs. An ability can preserve a floor item but depends on the healer being alive, in range, and able to pay its cost. Ask before consuming the last shop currency or assuming a cooldown is ready.
Items are self-contained and can be carried into an isolated route. Abilities support the team repeatedly. A strong squad plans both rather than making the healer the only recovery method.
Shop purchase decision
Buy healing when a player is injured and the next floor’s expected danger is high. Check the price and the team’s Tape balance. If everyone is full Health, an escape or extraction item may add more immediate value.
Current guides document Dandy Plush and Frugal Card discounts, but exact stacking and prices can change. Read the live shop card. During an agreed Dandy run, any purchase may break the shop-skip plan, so ask before buying even a useful heal.
Common healing mistakes
- Healing before the chase ends.
- Spending a full Health Kit for one missing Heart without checking alternatives.
- Hoarding a Kit until the Toon is eliminated.
- Picking up a heal another injured teammate was approaching.
- Assuming a healer always has range, currency, or cooldown.
- Buying during a Dandy run without team consent.
Healing FAQ
What does Bandage do?
Current community indexes describe it as restoring one Heart. Confirm the live item card.
What does Health Kit do?
It is currently documented as restoring Health to maximum. Use it when multiple missing Hearts or deep-run risk justify the stronger effect.
Can I heal while being chased?
Do not plan around it. Reach cover, end attention, then heal unless a current item explicitly supports an emergency operation.
Who should receive the last heal?
The injured Toon whose survival most directly preserves the floor and who has no better recovery option.
