Pebble Guide

Plan Pebble's Main Toon unlock, use Speak! and Fetch! deliberately, manage aggro and stamina, and choose distraction-focused Trinkets without endangering machines.

Pebble is a Main Toon designed for speed, survival, and intentional attention control. Current community data gives him the strongest Movement Speed tier among the focused characters here and the weakest base Extraction Speed, so his value comes from creating safe working time for other players. Speak! deliberately affects Twisted attention, while Fetch! helps with item control; neither should be fired without reading the room.

Evidence checkpoint: the unlock chain, star profile, and named abilities are Community reported by current character references checked 2026-08-08. They list 3,750 Ichor, 100% Twisted Pebble Research, and all Toodles Mastery quests. Verify every gate and ability value in the live Toon License panel.

The Pebble job

The clean Pebble loop keeps one or more Twisteds away from active machines while the team extracts. Choose an area with obstacles, multiple exits, and enough width to turn without clipping the enemy. Tell the lobby what you are doing so high-Stealth players do not walk through the loop and so another distractor does not unknowingly pull the same target across the map.

Speed gives room to correct a route, but it does not make open space safe against every Twisted. Learn the sound and behavior of the enemies on the floor. A lethal or extremely fast threat can turn one wide hallway into a trap, while a short-attention Twisted may be lost quickly behind cover.

Use Speak! as a controlled signal

Community documentation describes Speak! as attention-generating behavior similar to a failed Skill Check. That can gather pressure or protect a teammate, but it can also redirect a Twisted toward a machine. Before using it, locate teammates, identify the direction you want to leave, and confirm you have stamina.

Good uses include starting a chase from a prepared loop, drawing a threat away from a trapped extractor, or moving patrol pressure before the team commits to the last machines. Bad uses include barking next to an active machine, using it during a confused group rotation, or pressing it simply to advance an ability counter.

Some Twisteds respond to sound or failed checks in unusual ways. Read the counter guide and do not assume every enemy follows the nearest noise normally.

Treat Fetch! as team logistics

Fetch! is an item-oriented tool, so its value depends on what is on the floor and who needs it. Use it to reduce risky travel or bring resources into a safer route. Avoid moving an item another teammate is already approaching, especially a healing item intended for an injured player.

Communicate before using item control in a coordinated lobby. A Bandage, Health Kit, or escape item can be the difference between a stable deep run and a preventable elimination. A playful ability becomes strong support when it serves a named need.

Trinkets and stamina

Pebble already leans into movement. A speed pair may make walking a chase more comfortable, but stamina and recovery tools can cover the moment a route breaks. Choose the pair after testing whether your failure comes from base pace, sprint duration, recovery, a debuff, or unfamiliar geometry.

Do not copy a showcase build without matching its floor, team, and patch. If you can already keep distance, another movement bonus may add less value than protection against the specific effect ending your runs. The Distraction builds guide organizes choices by failure case.

Unlock route

Pebble’s community-listed Main Toon gate is a long project: full Research on Twisted Pebble, full Toodles Mastery, and a large Ichor purchase. Confirm all three in the store, then work the non-currency gates while saving Ichor. Research depends on Twisted Pebble appearing, so do not measure progress only by currency earned.

Use Rodger when targeted Research is the bottleneck, collect the corresponding capsules, and record live progress in the Twisteds menu. Complete Toodles tasks during ordinary floors instead of idling a team for a Mastery counter. When both gates are finished, keep the required Ichor untouched until the license is purchased.

Common Pebble mistakes

  • Starting a chase before identifying cover and an exit.
  • Using Speak! beside a machine or injured teammate.
  • Spending all stamina because base speed feels generous.
  • Treating every Twisted as if it has the same hearing and attention.
  • Moving a healing item without asking who needs it.
  • Farming Pebble’s license before checking the current Toodles Mastery requirement.

Pebble FAQ

Is Pebble good at machines?

Current stat references make extraction his clear weakness. He can help in a quiet moment, but his main contribution is giving stronger extractors safer time.

How do I unlock Pebble?

Community references currently list Ichor, 100% Research on Twisted Pebble, and completion of all Toodles Mastery quests. Verify the live license before committing.

Can Pebble outrun every Twisted?

Do not plan around that assumption. Enemy speed, special behavior, debuffs, floor geometry, and your stamina state can all remove the advantage.

What should I practice first?

Practice one repeatable loop on early floors, learn when line of sight actually breaks, and call Speak! before using it near teammates.
