Vee Guide

Use Vee's extraction and information strengths without getting trapped, plan Mic Check and Camera Hijack, and complete her Research, Mastery and Ichor unlock route.

Vee is an extraction-oriented Main Toon with information utility. Current community references give her the highest Extraction Speed tier in her profile, strong Skill Checks, low Movement Speed and Stealth, plus the abilities Mic Check and Camera Hijack. She can compress machine time and help the team understand a floor, but a poor route exposes her movement weakness quickly.

Evidence: the profile, ability names, and license route are Community reported by a detailed current Vee reference checked 2026-08-08. It lists 4,500 Ichor, 100% Twisted Vee Research, and all Brightney Mastery quests. Verify exact effects, cooldowns, and requirements in game.

Make extraction speed safe

Choose a machine only after identifying cover and two departure directions. Vee can finish work quickly, which makes an almost-safe location tempting, but her low Movement Speed provides less room to correct a late exit. Leave when a patrol enters the route rather than trying to squeeze out the last few seconds.

Strong Skill Checks add more value when the player can hit them under pressure. If the floor or your latency makes checks unreliable, use a build that improves consistency instead of assuming the stat will perform itself. A failed check can also interact badly with special Twisteds such as Astro or Vee’s own counterpart.

Use information before it expires

Camera Hijack is Vee’s information tool. Activate it early enough that the team can choose routes, not after players already committed to dangerous rooms. Call the important result—Twisted location, machine route, or safe direction—rather than expecting everyone to understand an unexplained ability use.

Mic Check contributes another utility layer. Read the current ability text and decide what action it enables. The purpose of information is to change movement, extraction order, or team positioning. An ability that reveals something nobody acts on has little practical value.

Build for the actual bottleneck

Pure extraction Trinkets can make Vee’s strongest job even faster. That is valuable when the team already controls chases and you consistently reach safe machines. First-machine progress also helps short floors where early tempo matters more than sustained bonuses.

Movement, stamina, or protection can be the better second slot on unfamiliar or deep floors. If your run history shows that Vee dies leaving machines, another extraction bonus is not solving the bottleneck. The Extraction build guide separates tempo, sustained progress, and defensive pairs.

In public lobbies, assume support may be inconsistent. Keep a self-rescue option and do not work the farthest machine simply because you can finish it quickly. In coordinated squads, a distractor and movement support can let Vee specialize much harder.

Unlock route

Current community data links Vee’s license to full Twisted Vee Research, complete Brightney Mastery, and a large Ichor cost. Verify the store, then progress all three gates in parallel. Brightney tasks can advance during regular runs while Rodger targets Twisted Vee capsules and encounters.

Twisted Vee can be dangerous and reacts to sound across a large area in current community descriptions. Collect Research without manufacturing unnecessary failed checks. A safe sighting and both capsules produce progress; a collapsed floor does not make the grind efficient.

Keep the Ichor amount reserved once the non-currency gates approach completion. Avoid buying unrelated Trinkets merely because the balance is visible. The Ichor guide uses a purchase queue to protect a named license goal.

Team pairings

Vee appreciates a distractor who keeps machines clear, a movement supporter such as Tisha for difficult rotations, and players who respond to information calls. She does not need teammates to stand on the same machine if that clusters risk; split work across safe routes and regroup for Panic Mode.

Avoid combining several low-mobility specialists without a plan. A team can have excellent paper extraction and still fail when multiple players cannot leave the same corridor. Balance the lobby by jobs, not only machine numbers.

Common Vee mistakes

  • Starting a dead-end machine because it can be finished quickly.
  • Holding Camera Hijack until the information no longer changes a decision.
  • Assuming high extraction covers missed Skill Checks or special enemy responses.
  • Equipping two speed-of-work Trinkets despite repeated escape failures.
  • Pulling Twisted Vee Research with noisy mistakes near teammates.
  • Saving Ichor while ignoring Brightney Mastery.

Vee FAQ

Is Vee the best extractor?

She has a very strong community-documented extraction profile, but “best” depends on survival, floor geometry, player execution, and team protection.

How do I unlock Vee?

Current references list 4,500 Ichor, 100% Research on Twisted Vee, and completion of all Brightney Mastery quests. Confirm the live license.

What should Vee’s second Trinket do?

Use it for the observed bottleneck: more extraction when routes are already safe, or movement/survival when leaving machines causes failures.

Is Vee good in a public lobby?

Yes, but choose safer machines and carry more self-protection because a public team may not provide consistent distraction or support.
